SwRI: One-stop engineering, testing for NEBS compliance
NEBS compliance clients receive electronic or color-printed
telecommunications equipment test reports and test plans (if
required) from Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). All data (including photos, graphs, handwritten
laboratory data logs) are digitized and presented on CD-ROM.
Multiple copies can be available.

Telecommunications Equipment Test Report
The test report is the final product
delivered to our NEBS client. This report is formulated to meet
the requirements of the Regional Bell Operating Companies (RBOCs)
and consists of the following components:

Up-front compliance matrix with "not
applicable" requirements / objectives explained
-
Description of the equipment being
tested, including position of shelf-level units within a
frame
-
Description of functional testing
performed
-
Identification of calibrated test
equipment
-
Point-by-point identification of
each applicable requirement or objective, followed by
test procedure and test result
-
Imbedded MPEGs of earthquake tests
Telecommunications Equipment Test Plan
The Test Plan is required by some of our
client's customers. The plan is configured to meet the
requirements of the RBOCs and consists of the following
components:
