SwRI: Methods of physical measurement and monitoring
Perhaps one of the most challenging of process industries
is the production of food. With the delicate balances maintained between
production volume, flavor and texture, and governmental regulations, very tight
control must be maintained over most food processes. Standard techniques used in
nonfood applications may not be feasible in this area.
Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) offers the food producer an unmatched wealth of
