With more than 30 years of experience in flow component testing, Southwest Research Institute (SwRI) has emerged as a world leader in providing independent and confidential validation testing of flow products for a variety of industries.

Flow Component Testing Facilities

The Flow Component Testing Facilities (FCTF) consist of a number of dedicated facilities housed in a single location that are used to perform both standard and custom testing. Services offered at the FCTF include:

• Product performance testing (cryogenic, fugitive emissions, flow coefficient, pump performance)

Flow Component Testing Facilities Capabilities

The SwRI FCTF offers standard and specialized testing services to evaluate products such as:

• Valves

• Piping

• Gaskets

• Seals

• Pumps

• Actuators

The Flow Component Testing Facilities regularly perform testing based on customized procedures to aid manufacturers in the development and evaluation of new products.

For more than 30 years, the FCTF has served both domestic and international clients by testing products using standards from recognized bodies such as:

• American Petroleum Institute (API)

• American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)

• American National Standards Institute (ANSI)

• International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
