Microencapsulation, Nanomaterials and Process Engineering Department
The Microencapsulation, Nanomaterials and Process
Engineering Department
in the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Division specializes in new product
development; product and process design and improvement; paint removal
technologies; supercritical fluid processing; chemical pilot plant design and
operation; performance problem resolution for manufacturers and users of
polymers; and chemical and petroleum refining. Organic chemists, polymer
scientists, chemical engineers, chemical physicists and petroleum engineers
are available to produce specialized formulations for controlled release,
research new technologies, resolve problems with chemicals and polymers, test
materials, and reformulate products to meet environmental regulations.
