Microencapsulation, Nanomaterials and Process Engineering Department

The Microencapsulation, Nanomaterials and Process Engineering Department in the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Division specializes in new product development; product and process design and improvement; paint removal technologies; supercritical fluid processing; chemical pilot plant design and operation; performance problem resolution for manufacturers and users of polymers; and chemical and petroleum refining. Organic chemists, polymer scientists, chemical engineers, chemical physicists and  petroleum engineers are available to produce specialized formulations for controlled release, research new technologies, resolve problems with chemicals and polymers, test materials, and reformulate products to meet environmental regulations.
